"Was seated right away, was asked if we wanted anything to drink other than water. Our waitress brought our water, then asked if we were ready to order. The food was great other than our onion rings were barely warm, but not once were we asked how our food was or if we needed anything. I would come back again but hopefully the server is more aware of her customers."

"This was awesome! Very cute and cozy atmosphere. Not a huge place, but that was totally fine for our group of three! It might be a little tricky if you have a huge group coming in. The food was lovely!! We took forever to order because my best friend was trying to simultaneously get BTS tickets, but the staff was very understanding and came back often to check on us. Super nice and kind people and a really funky-cool atmosphere. The food is upscale and tasty for a cheap price! Our party got french toast bites that were heavenly for only $8. I got a beautiful salmon and arugula breakfast special and it #rocked.This place is so awesome! They also have a beautiful display case with sweet treats and a coffee bar. Didn’t try any coffee because I gave up beverages for the new year (bummer) but they looked tasty!"

I also forgot to mention a food sensitivity, but everyone was very kind and accommodating. They re-made my order no questions asked. I will definitely be making this a go to!"

"I've gone to Black Sheep throughout the years, and I always leave happy. This year, I decided to get their Thanksgiving meal for delivery, and it was INCREDIBLE. I love that they offer e-invoicing and deliver to my address. I was able to enjoy a wonderful meal with my husband after a very stressful week. The turkey was flavorful and juicy, and the salad was bright and made me feel better about the amount of delicious carbs I ate. Everyone is so friendly, and I love the daily specials. From chicken fried steak to fish tacos, I always enjoy whatever they decide to make. And it's worth it to stop by for their desserts alone. Always different varieties on rotation, I have difficulty just choosing one cookie or bar to take home with my meal. Overall, a hidden gem of Salem. Truly one of the best places to go for a meal. Everything is made well and from scratch, and I have a deep appreciation for small cafes/restaurants that really show how much they love food and fresh ingredients. I will always recommend Black Sheep!"

"Ok this place checks all my boxes. Delicious and quality food, not a huge wait, even when they're busy and great prices, yet good sized portions. I got the Soup, Salad & Bread. I figured it'd be pretty small for $10. Instead it came with a bowl of Loaded baked potato soup, two slices of thick sourdough toast, and a real salad with mixed greens, spinach, marinated onions, tomatoes, cucumber, and a quality Italian dressing. Just $10! So of course I had to get a cinnamon roll, which was equally quality and delicious."
